Financing of the Agency for Audit of European Union Programmes Implementation System is defined by the state budget of the Republic of Croatia, as published in the Official Gazette:

-  OG No. 148 of 15.12. 2014

-  OG No. 26 of 24. 3. 2016

-  OG No. 119 of 20. 12. 2016

- OG No. 124 of 13. 12. 2017

- OG No. 113 of 17. 12. 2018

Funds for the functioning of ARPA are ensured in the state budget of the Republic of Croatia. However, since ARPA is a horizontal body in the system of EU funds, we have the right to use funds from various technical assistance sources within several operational programmes of the EU. So, the work of ARPA services is financed as follows:

1) the work of the Service for Audit of European Fund for Asylum, Migrations, Integration and Internal Security is co-financed from technical assistance under:  

- Asylum, Migrations and Integration Fund (AMIF)

- Internal Security Fund (ISF) – divided in two components:

  • Instrument of financial support for external borders and visas
  • Instrument for financial support to police cooperation, prevention and combat of crime and management of crisis situations

The allocated funds for the TA within this Fund for co-financing ARPA work amounts to EUR 1.075.000,00.

2) the work of the Service for Audit of European Regional Development Fund and the Cohesion Fund is co-financed from the technical assistance under:

- Operational Programme Competitiveness and Cohesion

3) the work of the Service for Audit of programmes under European Territorial Cooperation is co-financed from the technical assistance under:

- Operational Programme of Cross-border Cooperation Programme Slovenia-Croatia 2014-2020

- Operational Programme (IPA) Cross-border Cooperation Programme Croatia-Serbia 2014-2020

- Operational Programme (IPA) Cross-border Croatia – Bosnia and Herzegovina – Montenegro 2014-2020

- Operational Programme of Cross-border Cooperation Italy-Croatia 2014 - 2020

4) the work of the Service for Audit of European Social Fund is co-financed from the technical assistance under:

- Operational Programme Effective Human Resources 2014-2020

- Operational Programme for Food and/or Basic Material Aid for the period 2014-2020

5) the work of the Service for Audit of European Maritime and Fisheries Fund is co-financed from the technical assistance under:

- Operational Programme for Maritime Affairs and Fisheries of the Republic of Croatia in the programming period 2014-2020

6) Service for Implementation of Technical Assistance and Audit of Financial Mechanisms uses technical assistance funds under Norwegian Financial Mechanism and European Economic Area Mechanism.
